A reliable kitchen timer should do one thing well: keep time and alert you when it's done. The XREXS Digital Kitchen Timer handles this straightforwardly, offering both countdown and countup functions along with practical placement options. Whether you're timing a boiled egg, a batch of cookies, or managing multiple tasks in the kitchen, this timer provides the core features most home cooks need without unnecessary complexity.

Dual Timer Modes and Display

This timer works in two directions. The countdown function supports up to 99 hours, 99 minutes, and 59 seconds, while the countup mode tracks elapsed time up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. The large LCD screen measures 2.56 by 0.98 inches, with digits sized to read clearly from across the kitchen or from different angles. A memory function recalls your last time setting by pressing the START/STOP button, eliminating the need to re-enter the same duration repeatedly.

  • Countdown timer: up to 99:59:59
  • Countup timer: up to 99:59:59
  • Large LCD display for easy visibility
  • Memory function for repeated settings
  • Auto-shutoff after 10 minutes of inactivity

Alert Options

The timer features a loud ringing alarm audible from another room, which addresses a common frustration with quiet timers that go unnoticed. If you prefer silent operation, the mute mode switches the alert to a red flashing light instead of sound. This flexibility matters in shared kitchens or when you need discretion.

Mounting Flexibility

Three mounting methods accommodate different kitchen setups. A strong magnetic back adheres to refrigerators or other metal surfaces, a retractable stand allows tabletop placement, and a hook enables wall hanging. This versatility means you can position the timer wherever suits your workflow best.

  • Magnetic backing for metal surfaces
  • Retractable stand for countertop use
  • Hanging hook for wall mounting

Beyond cooking, this timer functions well for homework sessions, workouts, classroom activities, and games—any situation requiring time tracking. The unit comes with two batteries included and operates in white. For anyone seeking a straightforward, multipurpose digital timer with solid visibility and flexible placement, the XREXS delivers practical functionality suitable for regular kitchen use.
