Display and Visibility

The timer features a large LCD screen measuring 2.56 x 0.98 inches with clear digit display. The size makes it readable from across the room, which matters when you're focused on other meal preparation tasks. Large numerals can be viewed from various angles around the kitchen, reducing the need to move closer to check remaining time.

Timer Modes and Functions

This model offers both countdown and countup functionality, accommodating different timing scenarios. The countdown mode runs up to 99 hours, 99 minutes, and 99 seconds, while the countup mode extends to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. Additional features include:

  • Memory function that recalls the last time setting via the START/STOP button
  • Direct minute and second input for quick setup
  • Auto-off after 10 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery
  • Loud ringing alarm audible from other rooms
  • Mute mode option with visual red light flash as an alternative to sound

Placement Flexibility

The timer accommodates three different placement methods. A magnetic back allows it to adhere to refrigerator surfaces securely. A retractable stand supports tabletop use at an angle for easy viewing. A hanging hook enables wall mounting in convenient locations. This adaptability means you can position the timer wherever works best for your kitchen layout and workflow.

Beyond the kitchen, the timer's basic functions make it suitable for homework supervision, exercise intervals, classroom activities, or game timing. Two batteries are included, so it operates immediately out of the package. For anyone seeking a straightforward digital timer with audible alerts, legible display, and mounting options, this XREXS model delivers the essentials without unnecessary complexity.
