OXO Good Grips Small Silicone Flexible Turner Review

OXO Good Grips Small Silicone Flexible Turner - Black | Spatula, Heat Resistant and Flexible Head, Non-Stick Safe, Ideal for Flipping Burgers or Eggs, Dishwasher Safe

A good spatula should handle everything from delicate eggs to crispy burger patties without damaging your cookware. The OXO Good Grips Small Silicone Flexible Turner is designed to do exactly that. It combines a flexible silicone head with a stainless steel core, making it a practical choice for both everyday cooking and baking tasks.

Design and Material Construction

This turner features heat-resistant silicone bonded to a flexible stainless steel base. This combination gives you two key benefits: the silicone protects your non-stick surfaces from scratches, while the steel underneath provides structure and durability. The flexible head allows you to slide the spatula beneath food with minimal disturbance, which is particularly useful when working with items that might easily break apart.

  • Silicone head safe for non-stick and bakeware surfaces
  • Flexible design reduces pressure on delicate foods
  • Stainless steel core maintains shape and strength

Practical Performance

The small size makes this turner well-suited for specific tasks rather than general kitchen duties. It excels at flipping individual items like eggs, burger patties, and pancakes. The flexibility of the head helps you get underneath food cleanly, reducing the chance of mishaps. For transferring baked goods like cookies from sheet pans, the flat head and compact size provide good control and precision.

  • Ideal for flipping eggs, burgers, and pancakes
  • Works well for moving cookies and baked items
  • Soft, non-slip handles reduce hand fatigue

Care and Maintenance

Cleanup is straightforward with this tool. The dishwasher-safe design means you can toss it in with your regular dishes rather than washing by hand. This convenience factor makes it easy to keep the turner clean and ready for your next meal preparation.

The OXO Good Grips Small Silicone Flexible Turner is a solid, no-frills tool that does what it's designed to do. If you're looking for a dedicated small spatula for everyday flipping and transferring tasks that plays nicely with non-stick cookware, this option delivers functionality without unnecessary complexity.
