Delfori Under Cabinet Jar Opener: Hands-Free Opening for Everyone
Opening stubborn jars and bottles can be frustrating, especially when arthritis, weak hands, or reduced grip strength makes twisting difficult. The Delfori under cabinet jar opener addresses this common kitchen challenge by mounting permanently beneath your cabinet, allowing you to open containers with minimal hand strength. Rather than relying on your grip alone, you position the lid in the opener's wedge and simply twist—the tool does the heavy lifting for you.
How It Works
This opener uses a straightforward mechanical design centered on sharp, high-carbon steel teeth arranged in two rows. These teeth grip the lid firmly while you rotate the jar beneath it, transferring the opening work from your hands to the mounted device. The steel has a rust-free coating designed to resist corrosion over time.
- V-shaped wedge design accommodates various lid and cap sizes
- Works on jars, bottles, and spice containers with different lid diameters
- Requires only hand rotation, not gripping strength
- Durable ABS plastic body with reinforced steel components
Installation and Convenience
The Delfori mounts directly under your cabinet using either the included screws or a high-strength adhesive pad. At 7.4 x 7.2 x 1.1 inches and weighing just 0.27 pounds, it takes minimal space and stays out of the way when not in use. This under-counter placement means no rummaging through drawers for a tool—it's always accessible on your kitchen counter.
- Mounts with 3 screws or included sticky pad
- Minimal counter or shelf space required
- Compact footprint: 7.4 x 7.2 x 1.1 inches

Who Benefits
This opener is particularly useful for people managing arthritis, reduced hand strength, or limited dexterity. Seniors and anyone who struggles with traditional jar-opening methods will find this a practical addition to their kitchen. The device removes the need for gripping, twisting with full force, or using alternative strategies like running a jar under hot water or tapping the lid.
If you regularly open jars and find yourself spending extra effort or avoiding certain containers, the Delfori under cabinet opener offers a straightforward solution. It transforms jar opening from a potential frustration into a simple, one-handed task that works with lids of different sizes.
